Background
The teacher should visit the sites (www.geocities.com/Athens/Acropolis/1653/quotes.html) beforehand to verify the sites contain appropriate information.

Note paper and writing materials.

Instructional Procedures
1. Visit the four web sites and watch for any link dealing with Civil Disobedience.

2. Choose one of the more recent political figures or historical movements and find the influence of Thoreau on that person or movement.
