TEACHERS WANTED!

Take a Peek inside the classroom of a H.U.B. teacher. Does this look like the classroom you would like to teach in?

Also, learn about the U.S. and Utah state history content and research-based
strategies that will transform the classrooms of H.U.B. participants
into "communities of historians." And then...APPLY NOW!

To download the H.U.B. application form, Adobe Reader must be installed on your computer. If it is not, download a free copy OR link to the non-PDF version of the application and cut-and-paste it into a word processing document.

Once you have completed the application, please mail it (via interdistrict pony) to H.U.B. Project Director Shanna Futral, DSD Curriculum Department.

NOTE: The following information pertains to you ONLY if you are invited to participate in the optional quasi-experimental evaluation component of the H.U.B. Project.

Funding of the H.U.B. Project was partly dependent on the inclusion of a quasi-experimental research component as part of H.U.B.'s evaluation plan.

As a result, of those who apply, 150 participants (three-year total) will be selected (read about the selection process), based upon pre-project characteristics, to participate in one of five groups. (Note: This criteria only applies to those who will be selected for participation in one of the five quasi-experimental groups. If you do not fit the criteria, you may still actively participate.)

Each group has different participation requirements and reimbursement.

If you are not assigned to one of the quasi-experimental groups, you still may actively participate in H.U.B.; there are no requirements and no limitations.
