Thanks to a $1 million Teaching American History federal grant, DSD social studies teachers are about to embark on a three-year adventure that will take them back in time to explore American history and also equip them with the educational strategies and skills needed for the future!

This site is under ongoing construction as we add to it valueable resources, such as field study photo gallery, teacher reseach reports, virtual tours of tour routes, and videocasts of HUB lectures and events.
This site is also home to the DSD Japanese American National Museum Enduring Communities project, which features lectures adn oral histories related to JA experiences in Utah during WWII.

The History Underscores Belief (H.U.B.) Project will bring together Davis School District with Weber State University and local historical, technology, and education organizations to improve instructive skills of history teachers in grades 4, 5, 7, 8, 11, and 12. Full Story.
