The purpose of the DESK is to focus and prioritize the content students are expected to learn. Teachers, administrators, and curriculum specialists collaborated to identify the skills and knowledge students need to master at each stage in their education. By clicking the content areas below, you will be able to access individual documents outlining the essentials for each grade level or course. As implementation of the DESK continues, it can be expected that some modifications to these documents may become necessary. |
| Teachers are encouraged to submit their best lessons, assessments, and resources associated with the Davis Essential Skills and Knowledge. Submissions will be approved by curriculum supervisors and posted online for all Davis School District teachers to access. To prepare a submission, please download the appropriate template from the list below, complete it and e-mail your submission (and any needed attachments) to the appropriate curriculum supervisor. | ||
