Clearfield High School - Alumni!

Alumni 50th anniversary celebration, thursday april 28th at 8:50am.   All alumni are encouraged to attend!

The CHS Alumni Association has been very active this past year, starting some new traditions and carrying on some old ones.

  • It is their goal to support Clearfield High School in maintaining traditions of excellence and commitment to learning
  • Support students through scholarships and programs that foster a life-long commitment to the high school
  • Provide mentoring to all students
  • Recognize alumni and their achievements
  • Serve as a resource or data base for alumni
  • Promote and educate the public concerning the value of investing in Clearfield High School

Only once every fifty years will there be a year like this one! During this exciting year, we will be celebrating fifty (50) years since the doors of Clearfield High School have been open. The CHS Alumni Association is very excited about marking our 50th anniversary and will be holding several activities during the year to showcase the school and our history. To kick-off our celebration, we held an Alumni Assembly in the Falcon Auditorium for past and present students. At that assembly we honored our first Hall of Fame inductee, Suzanne Gardner Stott, and inducted her into the new CHS Hall of Fame.

Some of the other events that either have happened or are in the making are: Being part of the Clearfield City Parade on the 3rd of July which included five CHS convertible Corvettes representing the five decades since CHS began. Our second Hall of Fame inductee, Judge Thomas L. Kay, was the Grand Marshal of the parade. During Homecoming there will be an Alumni Golf Tournament at Glen Eagle Golf Course, a picnic in the park for families of alumni and current students, a Band Concert and many other activities along with a number of fundraising events. Among those fundraising events would be selling pavers to raise money to fund the 50th Celebration as well as put money toward an Alumni Scholarship to be presented to a qualified student each year. There will be a special ribbon cutting for our Hall of Fame in 2011. We are anticipating a large number of Alumni and existing students to support this celebration.
