    Richtey Science and Engineering Fair Winners

    A few of Mueller Park Jr. High students, by placing at the district science fair this year, earned the privilege to compete in the Ritchey Science and Engineering Fair at Weber State University.  In the Junior Fair, Sophia Green-Baskett earned an Excellent award in Botany, and Katherine Forth earned an Honorable Mention in Microbiology. 
    In the Senior Fair, James Madsen received an Excellent award in Chemistry, and Shannon Murray placed 2nd in Chemistry.  Andrew Bennett took first place in the Math/Physics category, received the Mu Alpha Theta award and earned a coveted invitation to the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair.  This fair is the world’s largest international pre-college science competition.  Andrew will travel to Pittsburg to compete with his project, Blown Away: The effect of propeller pitch on thrust generated by small brushless motors.  Congratulations to all these fantastic science students!

  • Microsoft Office Student Advantage Plan
    Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2013 Microsoft is now offering a free Microsoft Office subscription to our students as part of their District Office 365 account. This subscription allows students to install a full version of the Microsoft Office 2013 software at home on up to 5 devices. Software versions include Office 2013 for PC, Office 2011 for Mac, and Office Mobile for iPhone or Android.
