Lockdown lifted at Mueller Park Junior High
The lockdown at Mueller Park Junior High has been lifted. School will remain in session. Crisis counselors are available at the school for students and staff members.
Parents who want to check their students out of school can do so in the office. The person picking up the student must be listed on the student's card. They must show a photo ID.
The school was placed in lockdown following reports of a student with a gun. At least one shot was fired into the ceiling. The student was taken into custody. Police then went room to room to clear the building.
