Bountiful Elementary School and Spotlight Children's Theater are preparing for auditions for the upcoming school production of "Annie Jr."
Students in grades 3-6 are invited to register and participate, although only students in 5th and 6th grades will audition for lead character roles.  There are plenty of parts for boys and girls of all ages.  Students in 3-4th grades or those in 5-6th grades not wanting a lead role can register without an audition on Feb. 26th.
A parents Q&A meeting will be held after school on Wednesday, Feb. 25th at 3:30 for those parents who would like to meet the director or ask questions before auditions begin on Thursday.
Auditions for main roles will be held on Feb. 26th from 3:30-6:00
with callbacks on Feb. 27th by invitation.
Signup for an audition time on the musical
*To choose a signup time, click on the "Auditions" tab at the top and then click "Sign up for an Audition time here".  You will be taken to a Signup Genius page.  You can check the time you want to come (up to 3 people per time slot) then click the "submit and sign up" tab at the bottom.  Add your name and contact info before saving.
Students need to come prepared to sing 30 seconds of “Easy Street” (boys only) or “Maybe” (girls only).  Practice tracks can be found on the above website.  Students will also be asked to read from the script.
Rehearsals start Tues. March 3rd & will be every Tues, Wed, Thurs. 7:30 am-until school starts, and on Fri. 1:30-3:30.   Performances will be Fri. April 10th & Sat. April 11th
     Participation Fee:
$40 with 6 hours of volunteer*
    or $50 without volunteer hours
Regular volunteer positions may include concession sales, ticket sales, backstage help, practice management, scenery help, performance set-up & take-down, etc.
*Key volunteers will receive half off the participation fee for all participating children. Key volunteer positions needed are:
    • ·         Assistant Director
    • ·         Assistant Musical Director

We can’t do it without a lot of help, but this will be an enriching experience for all students who choose to participate.  We hope you will consider joining in the fun!

  • It is important for the school to have pertinent health information about each student.  If your student has a health care concern, please list it on the Bountiful Elementary Student Information Form in the space for HEALTH PROBLEMS.  IF THERE ARE NO PROBLEMS, PLEASE WRITE 'NO CONCERN' in this space.
If your student will be in Kindergarten or new to the school or has a major new health concern, please fill out and sign the full page health information form.  This will be used to generate a health care plan for your student if needed.  Medications kept in the office will require additional paper work to be submitted when the medication is accepted by the school secretaries
