  • 2014-2015 Centennial Reading Challenge: Back by popular demand, the library will once again sponsor a Centennial Reading Challenge.  The goal is to read 100 books over the course of the 2014-2015 school year.  In order to officially participate, you must register in the library by the end of the day Friday, October 10.  Check with Ms. Harward in the library if you have any questions or want to sign up.


    October ACT: The October 25th ACT TEST is the LAST ACT test that seniors can take to receive their scores back before the Dec. 1st Priority admissions deadlines for colleges.     The late registration deadline is Friday October 3rd.   


    Citizenship U Make-Up: There will be a U make-up class on Thursday, October 2 from 2:30 - 5:30 p.m..  Cost of the class is $10 and will clear 1 U in Citizenship.  Please see Mrs. Gale in the main office to sign up and for a list of other U make-up options.   We are also in need of volunteers to fill service opportunities at Kaysville City  These community service hours will clear 1 U.   Please note that blankets are no longer accepted for U make-up.

    Night of Shakespeare: Advanced Theater will be presenting a Night of Shakespeare on October 3, 4, 6 and 7 in the Little Theatre. Shows begin at 7 pm on the 3rd, 6th and 7th and at 8pm on the 4th.

  • FCCLA: FCCLA members etiquette lunch meeting is Thurs. Oct. 2 in Foods Room. Bring your own lunch.
    If you are going to LaCaille Oct. 9 you must attend this meeting. Please turn in your membership dues of $20 as well as LaCaille $28 receipt to Mrs. Beutler by Oct. 2. We have a limit of 52 students.
    National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test: HEY SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS -ARE YOU INTERESTED IN A GREAT SCHOLARHIP OPPORTUNITY – 44 million dollars will be awarded to National Merit Scholars.  To be eligible you need to take the National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test. It will be given Wednesday, October 15, school excused.  Pay $17.00 in the main office and then take your receipt to Mrs. Hall in the counseling center.  If you have questions, see your counselor!

  • Microsoft Office Student Advantage Plan
    Microsoft Office Pro Plus 2013 Microsoft is now offering a free Microsoft Office subscription to our students as part of their District Office 365 account. This subscription allows students to install a full version of the Microsoft Office 2013 software at home on up to 5 devices. Software versions include Office 2013 for PC, Office 2011 for Mac, and Office Mobile for iPhone or Android.
