    Senior Graduation Information
     
    JESSICA SLOOT, Davis High Lady Dart Golfer extraordinaire, has been nominated for "Athlete of the Week" in Preps Magazine.  Go to www.prepsmag.com to vote for Jessica.  Voting ends Sunday night. 
     
    DAVIS HIGH SUMMER VOLLEYBALL CAMP will be held June 24 - 28.  Contact Coach Salvo at 801 898-6634 for details.  Cost is $55.00 for students grade kindergarten to 5th grade; cost is $75.00 grades 6 - 12.  Cost includes ball and tee shirt.

  • GIRLS SOCCER TEAM MEETING:  All girls interested in trying out for the girls' soccer team next year should attend a meeting Friday, May 18, at 2:30 soccer ball with Coach Souli in room 2205.  The summer conditioning schedule and tryouts will be discussed.
     
    THE FINE LIST is now available in the main office.  Students are encouraged to check the list for any fees or fines before the end of the year. 
     
    JUNIOR COMMITTEE APPLICATIONS are available from Ms. Barney in room 1307.  All applications are due on Tuesday, May 21.
     
    U-MAKE UP:  There is an opportunity for students to make up U's this Friday and Saturday.  See Mrs. Olsen in the office for information.
     
    ADVANCED THEATER CLASS will present the 1st annual "24 HOUR THEATER"  in The Little Theater on May 25 at 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. All shows will be written, rehearsed and designed in 24 hours.  Tickets are $5.00 per person at the door.

  • SENIOR MERIT CORDS FOR GRADUATION:  Please check the lists posted in the main office or outside the doors of the SLC Deans to verify senior merit cords:  Mr. Bishop (STEM), Ms. Coburn (F&HS), Mrs. Horstmann (SHS), Mr. McCauley (Business), and Mrs. Williams (A&H).
     
    MEDIA CENTER DEADLINE:  TODAY is the final due date for all DHS library materials.  Please make sure to return all checked-out items to the library by the end of the day today.  See Ms. Harward in the library to arrange for an extension if you need a book for a class.  Please pay your library fines ASAP to avoid long lines on yearbook day.
     
    D-TV APPLICATIONS (Davis television)  AND DART STAFF (Newspaper/Magazine) APPLICATIONS are available from Mrs. Hall in room 2800.  Applications are due next Monday, May 20. 
     
     KEY CLUB CLOSING SOCIAL will be May 22.  Certificates for service hours will be awarded at the social.
     
    CHALK ART FESTIVAL:  Color, music, snowcones, sun....don't miss out on Davis High's 1st annual Chalk Art Festival.  The action happens nex Monday, May 20, from 2:30 - 4:00 p.m. around the flagpole.  For $5.00 you get a bag of chalk, two snowcones, and your own piece of sidewalk.  Don't be afraid to show your creative side.  Spectators can purchase 3 snowcones for 3 bucks.  Pay in the office and bring your receipt.
