    The SBO Finalist Candidates are Blaire Arnold, Matt Beecher, Kallie Brown, Nate Bybee, McGyver Clark, Ryan Cook, Julianne Croft, Taylor Davis, Anna Ferrell, Cade Hyde, Rachel Laub, Landon LeBaron, Tommy Martineau, Sarah Plumley, Sam Sargent, Josh VanDrimmelen and Whitney Waters. 

    The Dartman Candidates are Jordan Checketts, Jacob Luddington, Logan MacKay and Taylor Southwick. Candidate photos are on display in commons by room 1800.  There will be an election assembly Wednesday, 25 March at 7:30 am in the auditorium.  Final election voting will take place Thursday and Friday 26-27 March on myDSD.

  • Auditions for Limited Edition, Madrigals and A Cappella Choir 2015-2016 will be held April 13-15th.  Audition information and forms are available on Ms. May's website or in the choir room.

    Start saving your change for
    the Leukemia and Lymphoma fundraiser that begins after spring break.  We have a title to defend as the biggest contributor to Leukemia and Lymphoma society in the Western United States.  This year our goal is 25,000 dollars by May 1st.
    Petitions for Senior Class Officer will be available beginning this now. Any Junior interested in running for Senior Class Officer needs to pick up a petition from Ms. Anderson in room 2204 to be eligible to run for office. Petitions are due Wednesday, April 8th at 1:00pm in room 2204.
    Seniors! Stop by the commons during lunch and help build the 2015 college wall! The Senior Officers and Senior Committee will be in the commons to help you let Davis High and the community know where you plan on going to college. Senior t-shirts will also be for sale for $10. Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate!
     
    Students interested in trying out for Color Guard must attend an orientation on Monday, April 6th @ 3:30 in the choir room.  Clinics begin Tuesday, April 7th and run through April 16th.  Auditions are Friday, April 17th.

  • dartman The 6th Annual Mr. Dart Pageant is Saturday April 18th.  Proceeds from the pageant will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Fundraiser. Any club, class, homeroom, and team can nominate a male candidate who is assembly eligible (No U's and a 2.0 gpa) and available to participate on the 18th.  Nominations need to be sent to Miss Hyer by Thursday 9 April.

    Citizenship U Make-up Classes will be held April 8, 15, 21 and 30.   The fee for the class is $5.00 and must be paid in advance along with the $5.00 U fine.   See Mrs. Gale in the office to sign up for the class and for other U make-up options. 

    Attention Seniors! -  The deadline for senior U make-up is Friday, May 15, 2015.  All U's must be cleared before graduation!

  • trophy Congratulations to Stokton Smith, Josh Ward, Colter Blanchard, Logan MacKay and Aubrey Argyle who compete in the high school national indoor track championship in New York last weekend.  The boys were national champions in the 4 x 800 relay - finishing with the 5th fastest time in US history. They also finished 2nd in the 4 x 1 mile relay.  Aubrey Argyle finished 2nd in 5000 meter race, earning All-American.

    Congratulations to the Theatre Department for their region win Saturday at Weber High. Perfect scores were awarded to Jessica Stewart and Savannah Herbon in classical scenes, Collin Matthews, Liz Olsen and Julianne Croft in musical theatre.  Individual placements went to Ally Hoffman and Max Kunz – 2nd place contemporary scenes, Stratford Healy – 3rd place dramatic monologue. Stratford Healy also won best actor in a one act. Davis High’s one act, All My Sons¸directed by Wil Cowswer won 1st place and will compete at state in April.

    Congratulations to concert band!  All three bands qualified for state for the fifth time in six years. Every band received superior ratings.

This subscription allows students to install a full version of the Microsoft Office 2013 software at home on up to 5 devices. Software versions include Office 2013 for PC, Office 2011 for Mac, and Office Mobile for iPhone or Android.
