  • d sports Drill Clinic and Tryouts:  March 21-23 will be drill clinics with tryouts being held March 24th.  Packets, times and more information to come later.
     
    Dart Man  

    Petitions for Junior and Senior class officers will be available starting March 20th until March 24th. Sophomores interested in running for Junior Class Officer can pick up a petition from Ms. Barney in room 1307. Juniors interested in running for Senior Class Officer can pick up a petition from Ms. Anderson in room 2204. Petitions are due on March 24th.  All candidates must attend a mandatory election meeting Friday, March 24th at 2:30pm. Those interested in Junior class office will meet in Ms. Barney's room, 1307. Those interested in Senior class office will meet in Ms. Anderson's room, 2204. Please see the class advisors, Ms. Barney or Ms. Anderson with questions.

  • Morp is Friday, March 24th. The theme is thrift shop and the dance is Dart choice – Next week is Dart choice. The dress code is casual.  School dress code and dance policy will be enforced.  Tickets will be $15 per couple and are available in the main office or online at dhsboxoffice.com. Tickets must be purchased in advance.  Students must bring school ID to the dance. One Davis High student per couple is mandatory to gain access to the dance.

     

    Choir Auditions for next years Madrigals, A Cappella Choir and Limited Edition are April 12-14.  Information and audition packets are available on Ms. May's website or in the choir room.  An audition sign-up will be available in the choir room the last week of March.

    MOONLIGHT SERENADE
    Date: Thurs. April 27, 2017 through Saturday April 29, 2017
    Time: 7:00 pm - 10:30 pm
    Place: Davis High School Commons
    INCLUDES:
    A four course meal prepared from scratch with your choice of mouth-watering halibut or prime rib.
    The Davis High Jazz Band plays, specially auditioned and trained student singers perform big band era jazz numbers, and the Davis High Dance Company even gets in on the event with floor show entertainment.
    This event is a fundraiser and community service sponsored by the Davis High Bands.

    Tickets are $30 each for main floor seating and $25 for seats off the main floor.

    TICKETS GO ON SALE -- Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in the high school commons area at 5:30 pm.

    The fastest easiest way to purchase tickets is to come to the DHS Band Concert on Wednesday, March 29. Ticket sales will begin at 5:30 pm in the commons area before the concert and will continue afterwards. Buying tickets at the concert using check or cash will allow you to forgo the online ticketing fee PLUS you will have the best pick of seats.

    PLEASE come prepared with all of your party's information including each patron's choice of meat (halibut or prime rib)

    The Debate team competed at the state tournament last weekend. Individual winners are: Taylor Pierce - 3rd place in Impromptu and Jacee Sessions and Jonah Feigleson - 3rd place Public Forum.

    Congratulations to Madrigals and many choir students who participated in Region Solo and Ensemble on Tuesday!  All entries received Superior and Excellent Ratings

    Congratulations to the members on Davis Chamber Strings and Davis Orchestra for their success at Region Solo & Ensemble Festival.  All entries received either superior or excellent marks.  String Choirs 1 & 2, Violin Soloists Emily Aamodt, Weston Wright, Josh Powell and Amanda Ruvalcaba, Viola Soloist Emily Alvord, Cello Soloists Elise Deppe, Rachel Edelman, Tynan Sigg and Brianna Nielson and Bass Soloists Jaron Mullins and Dimitrios Mattas all received superior ratings and will be performing at State at the end of April.  We also qualified a violin quartet, 2 string quintets and a violin duet for state.

This subscription allows students to install a full version of the Microsoft Office 2013 software at home on up to 5 devices. Software versions include Office 2013 for PC, Office 2011 for Mac, and Office Mobile for iPhone or Android.
