  • KINDERGARTEN ROUND-UP

We will have a "Round-Up" where in-coming Kindergarten students and parents come to the school to learn about what students will do in Kindergarten.  Please come on Friday, April 10 at 2:00 pm.  A gift will be given to all in-coming Kindergarten students and their parents who attend.
Prior to coming that day, parents can come to Foxboro Elementary to pick up REGISTRATION PACKETs for the 2015-2016 school year.  We would like to have the new students registered as soon as possible.  You will need to come to the school to pick up the packet.  When you return the completed packet, you will need to bring the following:

       d.  2 proofs of residency (one can be a utility bill, the other needs to be a mortgage statement or rental agreement.)  These proofs need to be dated with the past 60 days, and have your name and address on it,
You can pick up a packet between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM.  You can register your child between the hours of 9 AM and 3 PM.

  • Student Accident Insurance

Our district has selected the Student Insurance Plan from K&K Insurance Group to make reliable coverage available to parents. If you don’t have other insurance, this plan may be a resource to consider. Additionally, even if you have other coverage, this plan can help fill expensive “gaps” caused by deductible and co-pays.

Coverage may be purchased at any time during the school year by visiting

  • Riddle
Foxboro educator is state's teacher of the year

Allison Riddle, a fifth-grade teacher at Foxboro Elementary, was named Teacher of the Year by the Utah State Office of Education.

Riddle was chosen from among 23 nominations and will now compete at the national level. The award included a $10,000 check as well as a SMART Board interactive white board, laptop computer from PC Laptops and $250 Visa gift card from McDonald's. A video of her in the classroom is viewable here.

Riddle is known not just as a teacher, but as a teacher's teacher. Fellow teachers recognize her talents and turn to her for mentoring — which she loves to do.

Kindergarten teacher Jolyn Metro says Allison “understands the nuanced aspects of teaching so well that I was able to learn a great deal from watching her teach my kindergarten class, even though she has never taught extensively in the younger grades.”

In her classroom, students learn the Preamble to the Constitution, memorize the poem of Paul Revere’s ride and demonstrate knowledge of each state and each president. Such knowledge may be uncommon today, but not in her class, where if her fifth-graders succeed in those tasks, they earn a “Young American Award.”
